Kerri: That is a cool contraption for carrying him. I hope he does well in his surgery. Nothing is as scary for a mom than when little one is sick and we can't do anything. I can't say it gets better even when they are grown.

Gardening

I went to my moms today. To help her with the yard work. My stepfather works out of town on a rotating shift, so he is out sometimes for weeks at a time. Today we cleaned up some of the flower and garden beds. We managed to clean up some stuff and get her house ready to be painted.

Lillies and tulips

Tulip Bud

We also were surprised to see the tulips putting out buds! Its kinda early for our area but awesome! There is a bit of green grass coming up and even the lilac bush has some sprouts on it. Im really excited, im so ready for spring to be here. Its a long time coming it feels like but within 2 weeks we should be greening up. if not sooner. We had a bit of a rain, big fat drops, for about 20 minutes today, and lots of afternoon sprinkles. All of it helps in getting the trees to green up. In fact it looks as though its going to rain some more.

My kids at the moment, are using my coffee table to bounce their ball back and forth. At least B will PLAY with C. So thats a step in the right direction, and my husband thinks we should take a 300 mile drive tonight. So im going to sign off. Talk my husband out of the trip, tuck my kids in bed and enjoy a quiet evening.
