While I know this blog is relatively new. Ive found a hosing site i like more then bravenet. So while ill continue to cross post between here and there for a while. Most of my new blog entries will be written HERE at my new blog. It also includes a "side" blog that has my photography, customers, friends and family.
So if you want more ideas, tips, information and pictures, watch those two sites. Ill be cross posting random entries over here for a while. As i take the old entries and save them over there.

I decided to lighten my hair. Its naturally very very dark brown and sometimes I want something a bit ligher. It can be hard because im really pale and have reddish hilights naturally so i have to find something that works with all that. I found this great color, loved it. Got it home and used it.
Only for my hair to go a shade darker and about 10 shades redder. Its a very dark red now hehe. I think it looks fake, but everyone else likes it. I dont know, maybe ill keep it, maybe ill change it. NOt sure at this point what im going to do.

Well we finally managed to get our stimulis payment in. Found me keys hehe. But we got our rent paid, thank god and just enough left over for gas untill T gets his first pay check in. Thats right He went back t to work too. Oh god, it was a nice week, getting all of that done and overwith.
He isnt too fond of his current job, works too fast for him when he dosent entirely know what he is doing. So he is just going to do it for a little bit, till his other job picks back up, then go back to that company.
Whatever works, same pay in both areas. Im just glad that he is working again. 2 months was way too long!
Anyway i cant stay on long tonight, so im going to go.

Nothing better then fresh frenchfries hot out of the oil and popcorn chicken. Home made of course. In the middle of the night.
Its the silly things that keep me going!

Its raining out. First rain of the season. Its nice to see those drops falling, watering the ground, the plants... creates life. Its a nice thing to see, rain. If it lasted a day, i would love it. Here it can rain for weeks on end. Creating floods.... the weather... it can be a sad thing. Yesterday it was sunny and warm, near 70, today its raining and cold, probably 50 out. But thats the way of life.
The plants need the water... The gardens need the water. Speaking of. we just got another yard of soil and manure added into the older soil in the garden. It was all tilled in and everything. That means, as soon as it STOPPS raining, the plants are going in the garden. YAY!
Very exciting to be able to plant our fruits and veggies.

I wish i could take my plants outside for a good rain on them. Best water there is. But i live on the third floor. Im not carting over 50 houseplants down3 flights of stairs so they can get a rain. Ill put them in the tub lol.
Anyway enjoy your saturday. And ill enjoy the rain. Child free.

I think everyone is really starting to feel the strain of the economy. At least us little people are. Ok my family is. The carpentry market is bone dry right now. The housing market is dead. All selling and no buyers. Cant blame people, with gas over $4 a gallon, no signs of slowing down and minimum wage only $7 an hour.... Its killing people just to work.
You cant live off of much less then 10-12 an hour. I cant even get a job for that much though, with my minimal skills.
Frankly i dont know how much longer families like mine are going to be surviving without loosing out on so many things. Allready we have been cutting corners, missing out on fun events, not doing things anymore. My son got 3 gifts for his birthday and while he dosent know any different now, in the future he is going to notice. My younger son turns 1 in 3 weeks and we have nothing for him. Looking back, is he going to feel bad, neglected, angry... because we couldent get him anything for his birthday?
While he might not care.I Do. I hate that i cant even give my children birthday gifts.
Its the little things that we dont do anymore. Take drives together, go to the zoo and parks... those things we did as a family, i miss them so much. But now, gas is so expensive that we cant even imagine going on a family outing. Not without hurting us too much.
At the moment, we have to consentrate on our ever rising bills. We use little electricity, but we need to cut that down too. Computer is the next thing to go because the monitor uses it. Need to turn off lights, do less in the house. Even though we cant go outside we have to find ways to cut down our cost of living here.
Frankly, the strain is getting to me badly. My head is hurting, my back... its all stress... I just feel bad that i cant even properly take care of my kids in this time... In this age, we shouldent have an issue like we do.

Ive decided its time for me to look into gettng a job. Aside from our finacial situation being in the crappy end of the spectrum. Im really starting to need that time away from my kids and my husband. Conner is 11 months old, by the time i get a job he should be about a year. Brennan was 11 months old when i went to work for a few months. Really i need to get away from everything. I have too much work, too many responsibilties here and i just need to get away from them for a bit. Besides i actually enjoy working a bit. Im not talking about full time 40+ hours a eek. Im talking more like 3 days a week, MAYBE 8 hour shifts then, but im hoping more like 6 hour shifts.  In any event, im hopeful for a job in a portrait studio somewhere, but frankly ill take a garden center somewhere too hehe.
